Meet Kirk Goodwin

         Kirk's legal career began in the financial sector advising banks on regulatory compliance and anti-money laundering best practices more than a decade ago. After several years in finance, Kirk was recruited to serve as In-House Counsel for a private family. In addition to his legal role, Kirk also served as a Director of Operations, where he gained invaluable experience scaling and managing multiple successful companies. Kirk now applies his unique blend of legal and business acumen via Goodwin Legal LLC, where he focuses on helping entrepreneurs manage risk while maximizing profitability and guiding creatives turn their passions into careers.  

Kirk was an early adopter of (and believer in) digital content and the creator economy. In the late 2000s, he could be found watching countless hours of basketball highlights, music videos, and comedy skits from his campus residences, library, and classrooms. This trend continued through law school, and made it an easy decision when Kirk met the opportunity to aim his legal focus at the blossoming digital media space. Kirk holds a real estate license in addition to his legal license and deep entrepreneurial passion.
